Agendas & Motives

Motives and agendas are what drive me to react, respond and choose as I do. The way I understand myself and interface with my experiences creates my perceptions, and my perceptions create my motives and agendas. Understanding my motives and agendas requires knowing about my fears, entitlements, expectations, beliefs, values, shame, relationships, etc. If I’m unaware of how these things create my motives and agendas, I will not know how to look at myself thoroughly and gather information to gain a more full picture of the Reality. Instead, I will see only my reality. If I am not conscious of my reality, I will react to my initial perceptions, and not even realize I’m reacting.
