Co-dependency
Co-dependency includes many different outward behaviors, but at its core, it is unhealthy attachment to people and/or things. Co-dependency means I attach to other people, or things, or emotions, or food or money or anything in the world, with a belief the I must have that thing or that person. Therefore, I manipulate, I go into denial, I use surreptitious and secretive behavior to get my “need” met. Co-dependency reinforces fear, anxiety, lack of boundaries and shame.
