Self-Care
Self-care means taking responsibility for our own emotions, thoughts, desires, weaknesses, strengths, needs, wants, and so forth. Self-care means caring for oneself spiritually, emotionally, physically, medically, etc. Although self-care may appear to be selfish, it is the only way to be truly unselfish. Only when we have adequately cared for self, can we give to others without any grasping or desire to “get” from them in return.
