Responsibility
Responsibility means being accountable. I am responsible to consciously know and manage my perceptions, my thoughts, my feelings, my reactions, my choices, and my actions / behaviors. Living a lifestyle of responsibility means being humble and willing to account for my choices. Responsibility connects me with myself, other people, and God or my Higher Power. Responsibility teaches me empathy and compassion for others. By being responsible, I learn how I affect others. Holding myself accountable to my commitments and for my mistakes, learning experiences, etc. matures my soul, frees me from shame, selfishness and lust, and opens me to the ability to love self and others.
